Hi guys,

I want to make different sound with my sample by changing sample start and end offset, but somehow the number become something else or zero after I press enter, eg. I type 2000, the number become 1422 or somthing, really frustrated :(

And another question, can I set "keyswitch" in polyphone?
I have sampled a Chinese plucked string instrument, and I also record a lot of skills of the instrument, I want to set some low notes as trigger keys like those VST plug-ins, is it possible? If not, please let me know how I can trigger different skill when I use a sf2 in my DAW.

Additional question: I export a soundfont with one preset and a few instruments in it, and I install the sf2 in musescore. All instruments play at the same time when I write a note, why would it happen? what can I do for it?

Thanks for helping

I think I figured this out, I linked each instrument to different presets. Now still need help with skill triggering one

triggering different articulations in a sf2 you do with Velocity settings, but not for use in Musescore, since Musescore uses Velocity to set the Volume (seems they never heard of Control 7).

Thanks for answering!

I thought of Velocity setting before, but those articulations themselve also have different layers of velocity, I will have to place them in very unreasonable velocity level if I do with velocity.

Is there anyway to link SF2 with cc 0, so we can switch different between bank in a preset?

I teied imported sf2 with sforzando and use it in my daw (reaper), but I think the cc0 doesn't effect on it

i have heard of people linking samples to all kinds of control, but i never studied it because i want my soundfonts as simple as posible, i use a few instruments of all kinds and mould the sound in my DAW by Volume. when mixing a piece of music you never can tell how virtual instruments work together or against each other, so better not to make too much work of a single instrument.
