TOPIC: How to use a midi keyboard with polyphone 1.8

You can probably tell I am a bit new to this. I have lots of soundfonts but am trying to learn what I need to use polyphone to manage all the soundfonts but play them on my midi keyboards. I have a feeling that I need some other software. Any help to point me in the right direction would be appreciated.
