I like to work with old plain midi sequensers, but i would like to see the patch names / preset names of the loaded soundfont "by the way is a patch in cakewalk the same thing as a preset?", well i guess an ins file "instrument file" is just some generated formatted textdata. Would it be possible to generate the ins definition when you save the soundfont for use with cakewalk i think it could be useful in reaper to?
The data is already loaded, it is just about formatting it to the standard?
