Hi , what I thought was a polyphony problem is actually note lengths for cymbals, crash, and ride.

Can I make the Soundfont ignore note lengths so the cymbals are not choked?

Thank you.

Hello AmpApps.net,

I know what you mean by the cymbals choking, but I have not been able to reproduce the problem.

Please can you upload an audio file demonstrating the issue? This would really help me find you an answer to the issue.

Thanks,

Strix.

Here is a Youtube video link with a demonstration and explaination.
It's basically like making a piano key strike sustain fully no matter the pedal state.

I made an interesting discovery, it works perfectly in BS 16 for iOS. I don’t know why, but I will look into it.

So, you’re saying that it works perfectly in Bismark?

This means that it is an issue with the soundfont player. Please report the issue to the soundfont player’s author.
